Profesor Oyarzún received her PhD in International Relations and European Integration from the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona, as well as her Masters in International Public Law and International Relations (DEA). She received a professional degree in Journalism from the Universidad de Chile. She is Vice President of the European Community Studies Association ECSA-Chile. She currently teaches and researches at the Instituto de Asuntos Públicos of the Universidad de Chile. She also supports the Diplomatic Academy of Chile. She specializes in international relations, regionalismo, and integration in Latin America and the European Union. She is author of “Sobre la Naturaleza de la Integración Regional: Teorías y Debates”. Revista de Ciencia Política, XXVIII (3): 95-113. (2008), and “El papel de UNASUR”, Foreign Affairs Latinoamérica, 10(3): 39-44. (2010), among other publications.
